The Apollo Theatre in Hermoupolis hosted the Educational event opening with a lecture from the acclaimed composer and president of the Cyclades Orchestra Nikos Kypourgos on impact of music in the development of child personality. Following a presentation of the Orchestra and its instruments (expecially traditional instruments as santοuri, oud, ney, etc.) and a workshop actively involving children.
The Orchestra and children explored the magical world of music combining melody, rhythm, singing and playing an instrument in a playful way. This journey finished with a performance of the Cyclades Orchestra performing  traditional songs accompanied by the Children Choir.
