Degree in teaching Visual Education by ESEC (College of Education) - Polytechnic Institute of Coimbra. Between 2007 and 2011 he worked as a teacher of Artistic Expression at the municipalities of Sertã and Coimbra, and teached "EVT" (Visual and Technologic Education), in Porto de Mós and Águeda.

Self-taught musician, multi-instrumentalist, player "by ear(ing)". Always related to music and instruments, involves up early in musical projects, starting in a local folkloric group, passing by a group of Fado, to the typical "cover band". In 2007, falls in love with, the Portuguese oral tradition and it popular music. This year and up to the present, integrating pipers groups as "Os Amigos da Rambóia" and "Roncos e Curiscos".  Between 2011 and 2012 includes the formation of "No Mazurka Band". Also in 2011, with the complicity of David and Daniel Gonçalves, founded the group "Sabão Macaco", with the aim of creating and recreating themes from crossing the Portuguese oral tradition with various music movements of the twentieth century. He's a musician, builder and trainer on the recreation of traditional music and its instruments."
